Palm Bay is a city in Brevard County with a population of around 103,190. In the 1850s, the first European settlers built homes along Turkey Creek and the city was originally referred to as Tillman. By the mid-nineteenth century, they city began to grow once the railroad was built in 1894. Then goods were brought in and produce was shipped to market faster.
